Sunway Pyramid is leaping into the most auspicious time of the year with its very own garden of abundance and prosperity to reflect its theme of ‘Blooming Happiness’ in welcoming the year of the rabbit.
In Chinese tradition – the year of the rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace and prosperity – and Sunway Pyramid hopes to help our shoppers usher in this hopeful year through its intricately designed décor, an abundance of shopping, dining as well as special rewards and activities for all in the family to share and take part in.
In the days and nights leading up to the exciting festivities, shoppers can come together for their respective reunion dinners with family, friends, loved ones and even co-workers to welcome the Lunar New Year. With many restaurants to choose from – it is certainly a wonderful time to get together, lou sang and bond over a meal or two. New clothes on New Year’s Day is always something to look forward to – and whether one prefers to dress up in the traditional cheongsam and samfu or simply want to look their best – shoppers will be spoilt for choice amongst the tenants who will be having various offers on Lunar New Year-ready attire.
Amidst all of the shopping and joyous reunions – Sunway Pyramid will also be hosting a garden reminiscent of a beautiful spring day in line with its ‘Blooming Happiness’ theme at its LG2 Orange concourse. Decked out with an overflow of flowers from a flower market by Fleurs, and the sweet sight of cherry blossoms that symbolise luck and happiness, the month long campaign will run until 29 January
2023 to liven up the atmosphere.
Aside from being the perfect spot to take memorable photos with friends and loved ones, shoppers can also participate in the Fortune Hop Augmented Reality (AR) game to redeem a gift at the Rewards Booth. The interactive Blessing Pond will allow shoppers to share dedicated messages and watch them appear on a delicate lotus bloom after they submit them – so they can share their joy and excitement about their upcoming celebrations with everyone!
Those who are looking to get their various new year necessities can also do so at the concourse. Traditional snacks such as dragon beard candy, maltose lollipops, ting ting candy and sesame dough candy as well as a calligraphy booth will all be set up amidst the décor to add to the exciting atmosphere.
To reward shoppers for making their purchases in the mall, special items will be available via the mall’s Blooming Redemptions, while stocks last. Sunway Pals members will be entitled to a bonus spin on Sunway Pals’ Wheel of Fortune to enjoy more exciting rewards.
