This year, Berluti celebrates the holidays with Patina Rainbow, a colorful offering blending personalisation and the Maison’s emblematic Venezia leather pieces.
For the occasion, clients are able to choose among eight selected products and eight unique patina shades to create their very own leather goods through an offered customisation process.
Chosen products include Berluti’s most emblematic shoe, the Alessandro, as well as the casual yet timeless Playtime sneaker; the Nino GM clutch; small leather goods such as the Itauba, Makore, Imbuia and Jagua wallets and card cases; and Berluti’s favorite accessory, the shoe horn-shaped keyring.
Each piece is available at Berluti stores in a neutral Bianco base, to then be patinated with the client’s preferred shade. Forming a rainbow of eye-catching colors, the eight selected patinas are inspired by the rich colors found in the architecture, landscape and foliage of the North Indian city of Chandigarh. Hues range from the softer Utopia Blue or Rose Garden Pink to the vibrant, distinct Nespola Orange, Sukhna Sunset Purple and Pinjore Garden Green. This vibrant selection of patinas is completed with the maison’s most emblematic patina, TDM Intenso.
As customary, the patina process takes around two weeks, during which each piece’s shade is given depth and perfected in the color atelier, to then be handed to the client complete with a truly singular, celebratory patina.
The Patina Rainbow will be available from November 1st and offered in all Berluti stores worldwide.
Berluti was established in Paris in 1895 and has been built by four generations of shoemakers. In 2005 fine leather goods were introduced and, in 2011, a complete clothing collection. A unique bespoke service from head to toe is now available through Berluti’s workshops in rue Marbeuf and rue de Sèvres. Berluti now has over 60 stores worldwide.
