Alia Bastamam introduces 19 looks in a collection that breathes fresh vigour with five new designs and 14 revivals.
“It’s our brand’s 10th anniversary, so in commemoration, I’ve revived some of my signature designs from over the past decade,” a subtle sense of pride beams from within Alia.
“These looks may ring a bell and hopefully bring back some good memories, too. It was all about the process of reviving my past designs – how would I remake them now, for the resent?”
A complete composition of languid leisurely looks and extra special ensembles for formal intimate events, the Eid 2021 collection is created for Hari Raya and beyond. Full looks are easily separated for casual weekends with the girls, too – just switch it up with a pair of your favorite jeans or tailored shorts – while tunics and kaftans make for breezy daytime open houses.
Speaking about revitalizing past looks for her 10th year, Alia looks inwards: “Not only was I revisiting my designs, the process also made me discover who I am as a designer – and as my own person – now versus then. I’ve grown with my brand, my team and my day-one clients and customers, so I’m excited to share this collection with you.“
